Jr. Golf Tour Crowns Champions

The Jamieson Jr. Golf Tour wrapped up with its final stop of the season at Beach Grove Golf & Country Club in Tecumseh.

Miles Thiessen of Kingsville picked up his first tour win, while Graham Byrne of Essex won the Jr. Boys overall title.

Jasmine Ly of Windsor picked up her fifth win of the season and also won the overall Jr. Girls title.

In the Collegiate men's division, Tyler Cherubin won the stop, but it was Thomas DeMarco taking the overall title.

And Alyssa Getty of Kingsville won the stop and Collegiate women's overall title.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
