Maroons & Lakers Win

The Chatham Maroons won their second Jr. B preseason game, getting by the Stars 3-1 in St. Thomas.

Cale Markham and Josh King scored for the Maroons in the first period, while Cory Bussing found the back of the net in the third.

Chatham is back on the ice next Tuesday when they host St. Thomas at Memorial Arena.

Meanwhile, the Wallaceburg Lakers won their first preseason game of the Jr. C season, shutting out North-Middlesex 3-0.

Wallaceburg is back in action on Friday when they head to Blenheim to take on the Blades.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
