Marco Estrada took a no-hitter into the seventh inning as the Toronto Blue Jays held on to beat the Seattle Mariners 3-2. Edwin Encarnacion launched a two-run homer for Toronto.

The Tigers are two-and-a-half games back of the Blue Jays for the A-L wild card -- Detroit had the night off.

Team North America is 1-1 at the World Cup of Hockey after Russia beat the 23-and-under team, 4-3.

Earlier, Team Europe edged the Czech Republic 3-2 in overtime.

Carson Wentz threw for 190 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions as the Eagles knocked off the Bears, 29-14 in Chicago on Monday Night Football. Philadelphia running back Ryan Mathews scored two touchdowns.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
