Heavyweight Battle In Jr. B

The Vipers are looking for their seventh straight win as they host Leamington Wednesday night.

LaSalle started the season on a four game losing skid, but haven't looked back since beating Chatham 6-2 three weeks ago.  The team's last loss was actually against Leamington, 3-2 in overtime on September 15.

Meanwhile, the Flyers are have won four straight games, allowing only five goals in that span.

The Vipers hold a one-point lead over Leamington at the top of the GOJHL Western Conference. The Flyers have a game in hand on LaSalle.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
