Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – November 11, 2016

Dillon Liberty led the Dresden Kings to a 6-2 victory over the Petrolia Flyers in PJHL action on Friday.

Liberty scored four of the six goals, while Will Tetzlaff and Dayne Davis scored the other two.

The Kings will head to Amherstburg on Sunday to take on the Admirals at 7pm.

As well, the Lakeshore Canadiens edged the Mooretown Flags 5-4 in overtime for their eighth straight win.

JJ Percy led Lakeshore with two goals, including the game winner in OT. Kyler Carter, Parker Boyle and Connor Rosaasen all scored once.

The Canadiens will take on the Blades next in Blenheim on Sunday at 7pm.

And in the GOJHL, the London Nationals fell 5-2 to the St. Thomas Stars.

Austin Kemp scored both goals for London.

The Nationals will battle the Strathroy Rockets on Saturday at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
