The New York Giants beat the Cincinnati Bengals 21-20 on Monday Night Football. Eli Manning threw two touchdowns in the first half and a game-winning 3-yard pass to rookie Sterling Shepard in the fourth quarter on a fourth-down gamble.

In the NBA -- the Pistons are a perfect 5-0 at home this season after Tobias Harris scored 22 points and Aron Baynes added 20 of his own along with eight rebounds in Detroit's 104-88 win over Oklahoma City.

Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion are officially testing the free-agent market. Both sluggers rejected their $17.2-million qualifying offers from the Toronto Blue Jays.

Meanwhile -- Detroit Tigers pitcher Michael Fulmer was named the American League Rookie of the Year.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
