Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – November 23, 2016

The LaSalle Vipers continued a seven-game winning streak by blanking the Sarnia Legionnaires 7-0 on Wednesday.

Maddux Rychel and Nathan Savage led LaSalle by scoring two goals each. Maddux Rychel, Jack Bowler and Brett Primeau all scored once.

The Vipers are on home ice on November 30 to take on the Lambton Shores Predators.

And in PJHL action, a ten-game losing streak continued for the Wallaceburg Lakers, after falling 8-1 to the Lakeshore Canadiens.

Kyler Carter scored a hat trick to lead Lakeshore, while Colin Sartor, Parker Boyle, Colton Coates, Michael Long and Connor Rosaasen each had one.

Trevor Waller scored Wallaceburg's only goal.

The Canadiens are at home against the Dresden Kings on Friday at 7pm. And then on Saturday, the Lakers head to Blenheim to take on the Blades at 6:15pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
