In the NBA -- Kyle Lowry led the Raptors in scoring with a 24-point performance as Toronto beat the Philadelphia 76ers 122-95. Lowry also dished out eight assists for the Raptors in the win.

In the NHL -- Thomas Hickey scored in overtime to push the Islanders past the Flames in a 2-1 win over Calgary.

Elsewhere -- St. Louis edged Dallas 4-3 in overtime.

In the NFL -- Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdown passes to Davante Adams as the Packers beat the Eagles 27-13 on Monday Night Football. That win also snaps a four-game losing streak for Green Bay.

In MLS news -- Toronto FC's head groundskeeper says Sunday's Grey Cup shouldn't leave any noticeable damage for Toronto FC when it comes to the playing surface at BMO Field.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
