Elsewhere -- Leafs rookie Auston Matthews scored against the team he grew up watching, but Toronto still lost to Arizona 3-2 in a shootout. The Leafs have lost six of their last seven games.

The Detroit Red Wings also lost. They dropped a 4-1 decision to the LA Kings. That's the Red Wings fourth straight loss.

In the NFL -- the Seattle Seahawks clinched the NFC West title with a 24-3 win over the L-A Rams in the Thursday night game.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
