Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – December 21, 2016

BlThe LaSalle Vipers scored an 8-2 victory over the Lambton Shores Predators on Wednesday.

Brett Primeau scored twice for LaSalle, while Manny Silverio, Chris Playfair, Jack Bowler, Jasper Forgrave, Liam MacDougall and Nathan Savage all had one goal.

The Vipers are at home against the St. Marys Lincolns on January 4 at 7pm.

And in PJHL action, the Blenheim Blades shutout the Wallaceburg Lakers 4-0.

Nick Delyzer led the Blades with two goals, with Drew Marlatt and Kier Cumming scoring the other two.

The Blades are at home on Thursday as they take on the Wheatley Sharks at 7:15pm. And then on Friday, the Lakers face off against the Kings in Dresden at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
