Jr. C Playoffs Continue

The Wheatley Sharks look to even up their opening round Junior C playoff series.

The 6th ranked Sharks host 3rd ranked Amherstburg tonight with the Admirals leading 1-0.

"We got 16 shots in game one, and that's not enough to win a hockey game" says Sharks head coach Dave Wiper. "Our focus tonight is to put a little more pressure on them in the offencive zone so we can get more pucks to the net."

Wiper says they have their hands full with Amherstburg.

"They're a very well coached hockey club, they're very experienced , and their skill set is really good," says Wiper. "They do a great job in stretching out the opponent, and they're very skilled when they get in the offencive zone."

Puck drop is set for 7:30 pm at the Wheatley Area Arena.

In other PJHL playoff action, the Dresden Kings look to open up a 2-0 series lead on the Blades when they host Blenheim tonight at 7:30 pm.
