Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – February 10, 2017

The Blenheim Blades beat the Dresden Kings 8-3 to tie their playoff series 2-2 on Friday.

Owen Bateman and Brayden Hopkins both scored twice for Blenheim, while Austin Bentley, Nick Delyzer, Brayden Seliga and Drew Marlatt all scored once.

Kevin Ritzer, Cory Lucier and Derek Shaw scored the three goals for Dresden.

The two teams face off in Game 5 on Sunday. Puck drop is at 7pm in Blenheim.

The Mooretown Flags staved off elimination by shutting out the Essex 73's 1-0 in Game 4.

Nolan Riley scored the only goal of the game for Mooretown.

Game 5 is on Sunday at 7:30pm in Essex on Friday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
