Express Signs Ayob to Contract

The Windsor Express have finalized another contract for the coming season.

The team announced Friday that they have signed small forward Ayob Ayob to a deal. In accordance with team policy, terms of the contract are not being released.

The Winnipeg native played his college ball at Minnesota State University at Moorehead. During his senior year, he averaged over 15 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game while starting all 30 games he played in. Standing at 6' 7", Ayob sports a seven ft wingspan and is considered a threat with three-point shots.

“It’ll be a new experience,” Ayob says in a statement. “I will play my role and do anything to make the team be successful as possible. I’m really excited to play with the Express.”

This signing comes two days after the team re-signed former NBLC MVP Logan Stutz and last season's rookie-of-the-year Maurice Jones.
