Maroons In St. Thomas For Exhibition Game

The Chatham Maroons are still looking for their first win of the preseason -- and they'll have a chance to find it Wednesday night in St. Thomas.

The Maroons are hitting the road for the second time in as many nights, this time taking on the Stars at the Timken Community Centre Arena at 7:30pm Wednesday.

Chatham lost its first exhibition game against St. Thomas 8-2 at home Sunday night. After that, the Maroons hit the road for a game against Sarnia Tuesday night where they ended up on the wrong side of a 4-1 game against the Legionnaires.

Dane Johnstone, who signed with the Maroons in the off-season, had Chatham's only goal in that game. Dakota Bohn and Dylan Schives picked up the assists.

The Maroons will wrap up their exhibition play on Tuesday, September 5 at 7pm when they host the Sarnia Legionnaires at Memorial Arena in Chatham.
