Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up – October 16, 2017

The Lakers fell 10-5 to the Wheatley Sharks on Monday, in Wallaceburg's sixth straight loss.

Jake Pickersgill was the top scorer for Wheatley with a hat-trick, while Delaney MacDonald and Kyle Gagnon both scored twice. Dawson Iles, Matt Carvalho and Parker Boyle scored the other three goals.

Noah Tetrault, Zachery Hartig, KJ Fontenot, Ryan MacAlpine and Jake Vancoillie all scored once for Wallaceburg.

The Lakers will try and snap their losing streak when they return home to take on the Petrolia Flyers on Wednesday at 7:30pm. And then on Saturday, the Sharks travel to Mooretown to face off against the Flags at 7:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
