Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up – October 20, 2017

The London Nationals fell 4-1 to the St. Thomas Stars in GOJHL action on Friday.

Ben Derrough scored London's only goal.

The Nationals return home on Saturday to take on the LaSalle Vipers at 7:30pm.

And in the Junior C hockey, the Dresden Kings edged the Lakeshore Canadiens 4-3 in overtime.

Will Tetzlaff was the lead scorer for Dresden with two goals, and Darien Davis scored once.  Kevin Ritzer scored the game winner for Dresden 1:17 into OT.

Michael Long led Lakeshore with two goals, while Jarrett Tazzman scored once.

The Canadiens are in Wheatley on Monday to battle Sharks at 7pm. And on Thursday, the Kings travel to Petrolia to take on the Flyers at 7:30pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
