Noah Bushnell To Lead Maroons

The players have spoken and the Chatham Maroons have settled on their new captain.

Veteran forward Noah Bushnell will wear the "C" for the Maroons this season.

While Bushnell doesn't have the most experience under his belt as a member of the Maroons organization -- 38 games played (GP) with Chatham including playoff games -- he does bring plenty of Jr. A experience to the table. His career totals include 176 GP with the Sarnia Sting and 20 GP with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in the QMJHL.

Bushnell will be supported by three assistant captains: defencemen Dakota Bohn (65 GP with the Maroons including playoff games) and Jake O'Donnell (43 GP with the Maroons including playoff games) along with forward Bryce Yetman (55 GP with the Maroons including playoff games).

The Maroons are currently riding a three-game win streak.

Their next game is against the Strathroy Rockets at West Middlesex Memorial Arena at 7:30pm Saturday night.
