CCHS Flames Advance to OFSAA

For the third time in the past four years, the Chatham Christian Flames senior boys' volleyball team is heading to OFSAA.

The Flames defended their SWOSSAA title on Wednesday, defeating Maranatha Christian Academy in a five-set thriller in the senior boys’ ‘A’ championship.

The Flames won 20-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-18, 15-9 at Maranatha in Windsor.

The OFSAA 'A' championships will take place in Toronto next week.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
