Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up – November 16, 2017

The London Nationals outplayed the Leamington Flyers 6-2 on Thursday.

Mitchell Webb led London with two goals, while Max Vinogradov, Brenden Trottier, Brett Primeau and James Turner all scored once.

Kenny Styles and Griffin Robinson scored the two goals for Leamington.

The Flyers are back on the ice on Sunday when they head to St. Marys to battle the Lincolns at 2:30pm. And then on November 22, the Nationals return home to face off against the Chatham Maroons at 7:30pm.

And in Junior C hockey, the Petrolia Flyers hammered the Wallaceburg Lakers 9-2.

Drew Fisher and Evan Brown each scored once for Wallaceburg.

The Lakers return home on November 22 to take on the Mooretown Flags at 7:30pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
