Maroons Bring Gritty Forward To The Fold

The Chatham Maroons are beefing up their scoring corps this offseason.

The team announced Saturday morning that they have signed forward Vincent DeSanctis. He played most recently with the Northeast Generals of the North American Hockey League, based in Massachusetts.

DeSanctis, 18, was chosen 256th overall by the Barrie Colts in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. Before this past OHL season, he was traded along with Mathew MacDougall to the Windsor Spitfires. In return for DeSanctis, the Colts got Windsor's conditional 11th round pick for 2019 and their 15th round pick for 2021.

DeSanctis hails from Howard Beach, New York.
