Blenheim Blades Ready For Regular Season

The Blenheim Blades are gearing up for another season in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

The team has two head coaches this season, Kent Gagner and Scott Teron.

Teron explains how co-head coaching works.

"When we're both there we just kind of get together on how we approach the game and what systems we're going to use. So it's basically a mess of our two approaches, and we split the responsibilities equally."

Teron says the team is ready for the regular season.

"We're looking pretty good, we've got a good mix of veterans and some good rookies coming in that will help support the veterans and help our cause."

Blenheim hosts the Wheatley Sharks on Sunday night for their final pre-season game. The Blades then open the regular season on Wednesday night against the Lakers in Wallaceburg.
