Maroons lose in OT

The Chatham Maroons were unable to hold off St. Thomas as the Stars rallied for a 5-4 win in overtime.

Chatham was up 4-2 at the end of the second period thanks to two powerplay goals from Eddie Schulz.

But the Stars scored twice in the third to send it to overtime, where Darren Beattie scored the game winner 1;07 into the extra frame.

The Maroons are back in action Wednesday night when they head to LaSalle to face the Vipers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
