Jr. hockey wrap-up – December 14, 2018

The Blenheim Blades hammered the Dresden Kings 8-3 on Friday.

Dede Cato led Blenheim with two goals, while Ryan Malott, Kier Cumming, Connor Wright, Drew Marlatt, Seth Henderson and Cameron Symons all scored one goal.

Nolen Vandenboorn scored twice for Dresden and Greg Hay once.

The Blades are back at home on Sunday to battle the Essex 73's at 7 p.m. And then on December 20, the Kings head to Petrolia to face the Flyers at 7:30 p.m.

The Lakeshore Canadiens shutout the Wallaceburg Lakers 8-0.

Andrew Thoms and Tycen Chittle both scored twice for Lakeshore, while Brandon Ireland, Lucas Poisson, Blake Bain, and Hunter Bailey all scored once.

The Lakers face off against the Blenheim Blades on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. And then on December 21, the Canadiens are on home ice to play the Amherstburg Admirals at 7 p.m.
