GOJHL announces mandatory vaccinations for all "Player Access Personnel"

The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced a mandatory vaccination policy for all "player access personnel."

In the release, the GOJHL confirmed that double vaccinations against COVID-19 would be required for "players, coaches, trainers, team and league staff, officials, volunteers and billet families." The release states that "billet family members under the permitted age for vaccination by applicable Public Health Agencies are excluded." The league says they will work through a 3rd party to comply with the Ontario Human Rights Code to provide accommodation for any player access staff who can not be vaccinated due to substantial medical reasons.

In terms of fans attending games, the league says they are working on a full vaccination policy to be released at a later date.
