Barnstormers' Marcus named IBL player of the week

A Chatham-Kent Barnstormer has been named the Intercounty Baseball League's (IBL) player of the week.

Spencer Marcus took home the honour after batting .545 with two homeruns and seven runs batted in (RBI).

This brings his season totals to a .380 batting average, with four home runs and 20 RBIs. His batting average is sixth best in the IBL.

Marcus' stats were good enough for him to earn a spot in last weekend's All-Star game.
