Knights Beat Spitfires

Thanks to solid performance by right wing Mitchell Marner, the London Knights took a 4-3 win over the Windsor Spitfires.

During the game Saturday night, the Knights hit the ice strong making the score 3-0 before the second half of the second period. However, within three minutes, the Spits attempted to make a comeback with three goals of their own, tying the game. Unfortunately for Windsor, the Knights were able to sneak one final goal before the end of the period. Neither team scored in the third, ending the game with the Knights on top with a single goal.

Marner score three out of London's four goals, including the final game winning point at the end of the second period. Chandler Yakimowicz scored the other goal for the Knights.

The London Knights are back on the ice on Sunday to take on the Sudbury Wolves at 2pm.
