Woman Assaulted While Walking Dog

Oxford OPP are looking for a suspect after a woman was assaulted while walking her dog.

It happened in Tillsonburg on Friday, October 31 around 8:45am. Police say the woman was walking her dog on the Trans Canada Trail just north of Front St., when a man assaulted her. After a brief struggle, she was able to break free and activate the panic alarm on her car, which was parked nearby.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male 30 – 40 years old
  • Dark or tanned skin
  • 5'7" to 5'8" tall
  • Stocky build
  • Bald head
  • Wearing reflective sunglasses

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
