Stolen Guns Seized In Raid

Two London men are facing a slew of charges after police seized three stolen guns from a Wharncliffe Rd. S home.

On November 4, a Londoner reported that their guns had been stolen.

Today, the guns and drugs unit executed a search warrant on Wharncliffe Rd. S.

Officers seized the following items.

  • Remington .308 calibre semi-automatic rifle, model 742
  • Browning 7mm bolt-action rifle
  • Armimarocchi 20 gauge over under shotgun
  • Bushnell 3x9 by 40mm objective lens (scope)
  • Leupold 3x9 by 40mm objective lens (scope)
Alexander William, 25, and Allan Dyck, 50, both face charges of possession of firearms without a licence, possession of firearms obtained by crime and possession of a firearm while prohibited.

William also faces charges of failing to comply with probation orders.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
