Lightning Fall To Power

The London Lightning lost a 109-90 game against the Mississauga Power in NBL action Saturday night.

The Lightning fell behind Mississauga early in the first quarter and weren't able to claw their way to the lead. By halftime, London trailed 24 points behind Mississauga with a score of 59-35. London started to gain a little ground by reducing Mississauga's lead to 18 points in the third quarter. And in the final two minutes of the game, London had fought their way to being 13 points away, but it wasn't enough.

The Lightning is now 1-1 in the season.

The Lightning take on the Brampton A's on Sunday at 2pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
