Lightning Strike Down A's

The London Lightning have beaten the Brampton A’s 119-113 to take their second win of the season.

During the game Sunday afternoon, the Lightning led Brampton 30-24 at the end of the first quarter and increased that to a 14 point lead by the end of the second. The A's started to gain on London and were only six points behind going into the final frame. However, the A's couldn't surpass London in time, and the Lightning took the win.

The Lightning now stands at 2-1 in the season.

London's top scorer was Zane Johnson with 25 points. Marvin Phillips scored 18 points and had 16 rebounds. John Hart and Emmanuel Little both chipped in 22 points.

The Lightning will play their next game on the road against the A’s in Brampton on Tuesday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
