Storm Breaks Knights' Winning Streak

The Guelph Storm took a 9-4 win over the London Knights, which finally broke their eight-game winning streak.

During the game Sunday afternoon, the Knights took a beating in the first period with the Storm scoring five goals to London's two. The Knights pushed hard for a comeback, ending the second period 6-4. However, it was all over in the third when the Storm scored three more goals to bring their team up to nine.

Mitchell Marner and Michael McCarron each scored two goals for the Knights.

London is back on the ice on Friday to take on the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
