Gubbels Remanded In Custody Again

The London man charged with murder in the death of his Warwick Township parents made another brief video appearance Friday.

Jeremy Gubbels was remanded in custody until November 21 as efforts continue towards full disclosure.

He will appear again by video from the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre.

The 26-year-old is charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of his parents, 54-year-old Mario Gubbels and 55-year-old Susan Gubbels.

A ban has been imposed on the publication or broadcast of information given during the court proceedings.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
