OPP Called To 20 Crashes

The OPP are urging drivers to be cautious following 20 collisions on local highways so far today.

No serious injuries have been reported in any of the crashes along Hwy. 401 and Hwy. 403.

Police are reminding everyone to use extra caution when snow starts to fall, noting weather conditions can be very unpredictable this time of year.

Drivers are being asked to slow down, stay in control and stay alert.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
