Rockin' The Stockin' Toy Drive Launches

Classic Rock Free 98.1 is once again partnering with the Salvation Army to ensure no child goes without a gift on Christmas morning.

The Rockin' the Stockin' Toy Drive starts today. You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at Free 98.1 at 700 Richmond St. or at White Oaks Mall.

"In the last ten years the need seems to have doubled in the City of London, so we know it continues to go up and we're hopeful the citizens of London will step up and make sure the donations come in," says Perron Goodyear with the Salvation Army of London.  "We anticipate that we will be assisting about 6,000 households in London, so that amounts to about 7,000 bags of toys that we will require."

Goodyear asks that when you are buying toys for you children or grandchildren that you pick up something extra for a child in need this year.
