Business Cares Food Drive Needs Volunteers

The Business Cares Food Drive is looking for volunteers to collect, sort, pack and haul the thousands of pounds of food donated this holiday season.

This year's goal is to collect 281, 535 lbs of food and deliver it to the London Food Bank right before Christmas on December 23.

"We need people to help make phone calls to get businesses involved and people to unload the trucks," says Alyssa Jarvis with County Heritage Forest Products. "This campaign grows bigger and bigger each year. The numbers, of course, need to be increased on our end too. We'd love to have ten bodies in County Heritage each day to help sort the food, volunteer drivers, we'd love have about 20 or 30 more."

Volunteers will be collecting food and cash donations at all Metro locations across London on December 6 and 7.
