Lightning Fall To Express

The Windsor Express have now won five games straight after defeating the London Lightning 104-100 on Sunday.

The Express were ahead of the Lightning by only five points at the end of the first quarter, but London caught up by half time, tying the game 48-48. The Express quickly regained their lead but London was able to make it a one-point game with one minute left in the fourth quarter. However, Windsor made three baskets in the final minute to take the win.

This game puts London at 5-3 for the season and Windsor at 5-1.

DeAndre Thomas led the game with 26 points for the Express and Quinnel Brown had 25. Al Stewart led the Lightning with 20 points, and Emmanuel Little scored 18 with six assists.

The Express will take on the Moncton Miracles at 7pm on Wednesday, and on Thursday, the Lightning and Moncton tip off at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
