Drug Raid In Bayham

Two people are in police custody after OPP executed a drug raid at three different addresses in Bayham.

Police raided two homes on Plank Rd. and a business on Glen Erie Line on November 25.

Investigators seized oxycodone pills, morphine pills, crystal meth, codeine pills, cocaine and hydromorphone pills.

The street value of the drugs is estimated to be $8,300. Officers also seized drug paraphernalia, surveillance equipment and cash.

Richard Morrell, 38, of Bayham faces six charges of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with recognizance.

Timothy Yvan Legault, 45, of Vienna also faces six charges of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Both are being held in custody until court appearances next week.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
