Another Shootout Loss For Knights

The London Knights lost their second shootout game in a row against the the Kingston Frontenacs, falling 3-2 on Saturday.

After a scoreless first period, Kingston drew first blood with a goal in the second period. The Knights gained their momentum in the final half of the second, scoring two goals to put them ahead by one. However, the Knights weren't able to hold on to their lead and the Frontenacs scored to tie the game and force overtime. After no goals in extra time, the Frontenacs took the win in a shootout.

Aaron Berisha and Michael McCarron each scored one for the Knights.

London will take on the Mississauga Steelheads on Sunday at 2pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
