Lightning Fall To A's

The London Lightning suffered a 131-118 loss to the Brampton A's Sunday afternoon.

During the game at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, the Lightning trailed the A's 27-22 at the end of the first quarter. The A's increased their lead at halftime to 11, and then 13 by the end of the third quarter. Brampton maintained their lead throughout the fourth to win the game.

The Lightning now stand at 6-4 in the season.

Marvin Phillips led all scorers with 26 points and 20 rebounds. Emmanuel Little had 22 points and nine rebounds, and John Hart made 22 points.

The Lightning will take on the Windsor Express on Friday at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
