Domi Earns Team Canada Tryout

Max Domi will get a chance this year to play for his country.

After being snubbed last year, the London Knights forward has been invited to try out for Team Canada for the World Junior Hockey Championship.

Domi was one of 29 players invited to the December 11-15 selection camp on Monday. To have let him off the list, as he was last year, seemed impossible given the season he is having.

In 24 games, Domi has 50 points (12 goals, 38 assists), good enough for third best in the Ontario Hockey League.

This year's World Junior Hockey Championship tournament will be played in Toronto and Montreal. Canada's first game is on Boxing Day against Slovakia at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
