Holiday Train In London

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is making stops in Woodstock and London tonight.

The train, covered in over 10,000 lights and blasting Christmas music, is stopping at cities across Canada this holiday season.

There will be musical entertainment at each stop and those who attend are asked to bring a donation for the local food bank.

"The event just raises so much awareness. Even if we don't bring in a significant amount of food on the day, it really gets people thinking about the food bank," says Operations Coordinator of the London Food Bank Mary Anne McDowell. "Last year we raised just over 2,500lbs of food and $800 came in from the community, the CP gives each community food bank $3,000."

The train stops in Woodstock at 6:35pm on Winnett St. then makes its way to London's Richmond St. railway crossing at 8:15pm.
