Mayor Brown On His First Week In Office

London's new mayor and councillors have their first week in office behind them.

Matt Brown and all of council were sworn in on Monday in front of a record crowd of 850 at the London Convention Centre.

He tells Blackburn News the ceremony was very moving, and when it was done, they got right to work.

Brown says council will take a break for Christmas and New Year's, but the budget will be tabled just prior to their holiday, so there will be a lot of reading for them to do as homework. He also says he and his family like to stay in London for Christmas and ski at Boler Mountain as much as they can.
