Two Charged In Violent Home Invasion

Two London men are facing weapons and assault charges in connection to a violent home invasion on Crimson Cres. in London.

Officers were called to a home in the city's east end early yesterday morning in relation to an armed robbery.

The 56-year-old homeowner was beaten and taken to the hospital with serious injuries to the head after two armed men forced their way into his home. He has since been released from hospital.

Domisane Small and Ricardo Bartley, both 24, face the following charges:

  • Two counts of armed robbery
  • Two counts of assault with a weapon
  • Break and enter and commit robbery
  • Using firearm during the commission of an indictable offence
  • Wearing a disguise
  • Pointing a firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a non-restricted firearm
Domisane Small also faces drug charges.

Police seized the following items:

  • Crowbar
  • Sawed-off single shot .22 rifle
  • iPhone (taken from the robbery)
  • 15 g of marijuana
The robbery unit continues to investigate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
