Lightning Strikes Down Power

The London Lightning are now 7-5 in the season after taking a 123-107 win over the Mississauga Power.

During the game Thursday night, Mississauga lead the Lightning by 12 points at the end of the first quarter and were still ahead 65-55 at halftime. By the fourth quarter, the Lightning made a comeback and were up by ten points with 5:30 left in the game. The Lightning kept going and made it a 16 point advantage for the win.

Jonathan Mills led London with 29 points and 12 rebounds. Marvin Phillips had 25 points and 17 rebounds, and Emmanuel Little scored 18 points and ten rebounds. John Hart added 21 points.

The Lightning are back on Saturday to once again take on Mississagua at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
