Arrest Warrant For Robbery Suspect

OPP have issued an arrest warrant for a man they believe robbed a CIBC Bank in Tillsonburg last week.

They're looking for Christopher Grant Sheardown, 31, of no fixed address. They say Sheardown has ties to the Tillsonburg, Woodstock and Brantford areas. he's 6' with a thin build, 180 lbs, with dark hair.

On December 12 at about 5:30pm, a lone male robbed the CIBC branch in the Town Centre Mall on Broadway St. in Tillsonburg. The robber threatened a teller, claiming to have a weapon. He made off with an undisclosed quantity of cash. No one was hurt in the incident.

OPP would like anyone who sees Sheardown to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
