Murder Charge Upgraded In Stabbing Death

London police say a charge against a man accused in a stabbing death has been upgraded.

Adam Keith, 27, was arrested in May after 28-year-old Jeremy Taylor was stabbed at a home at 98 Clarence St.

Taylor was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Keith was initially charged with second degree murder, but police announced Wednesday that the charge had been upgraded to first degree murder.

Keith appeared in court Wednesday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
