Knights Weather The Storm

The London Knights have won the last seven games in a row, following a 4-1 win over the Guelph Storm.

During the game on Friday, the Knights were able to score once in each of the first two periods to give them a 2-0 lead going into the third. The Storm was able to score once in the final 20 minutes, but two more goals from London prevented any comeback.

Matt Rupert led London with two goals. John Warren and Zach Grzelewski scored one each.

The Knights take on the Windsor Spitfires on Sunday at 2pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
