OPP Identify Oneida Shooting Victim

Middlesex OPP have released the name of a man shot to death at a home on the Oneida First Nation.

The body of 66-year-old Carson Ireland was found in a home on River Rd. on Sunday afternoon. Police had been called to the home around 3pm.

Police say the suspect in the shooting is a "tall, non-white male, wearing dark clothing and driving a light coloured vehicle."

Police are still investigating and are asking anyone with any information to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
