Police Investigate Death On Oneida First Nation

Provincial police are saying little else, but have confirmed they are investigating the death of a man on the Oneida First Nation.

Officers were called to a home on River Rd. on the reserve southwest of London on Sunday around 3pm. When they arrived, the found the body of a man.

Police have not confirmed reports that the man had been shot, saying only that an autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
