White-ish Christmas?

We may see some snow on Thursday, but probably not enough to make it a truly white Christmas.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, describing a somewhat Spring-like start to winter. The new season officially arrived Sunday, but it's first few days will feel more like early March than late-December.

Temperatures from Monday through Saturday are expected to stay above the freezing mark, with a high of 10C on Christmas Eve.

Forecasters say "Mother Nature will offer a meager attempt at a white Christmas" with some flurries on Thursday, but it's doubtful there will be much in the way of accumulation in the London region.

Below-freezing temperatures are expected to return on Saturday night.
